Our cycle maintenance course gets you hands on and dirty (aprons and gloves provided!) with fixing punctures, adjusting your brakes, checking your bike over for signs of wear and tear, and generally giving you the confidence to have a go.
The course runs over 4 evenings, Starting on Tuesday 22nd April, and the three following Tuesdays.
Each evening will start with a short talk about a particular aspect of cycle maintenance, before allowing time for questions and hands on practical sessions.
You can bring your own bike, or use one of ours to practice on. After the course, you are welcome to come to the the Bike Shed and use our tools to practice with. Please remember that bicycles can be dirty oily things, so come in clothes that you don’t mind potentially getting a bit of grime on!
Oh, and there is a good chance there will be tea, coffee and buscuits (we like buscuits!).
